Megan Mountain is a seasoned payments industry leader with over 16 years of direct experience in ACH, though she has been embedded in the payments industry for 20 years. She began her career at Citi and spent nearly a decade at Paya (now Nuvei), advancing through roles in support, implementations, and product management. Recognized for her deep expertise in ACH processing and merchant services, Megan was recruited by JPMorgan to help launch the Pay by Bank (PBB) product in the U.S. After successfully bringing PBB to market, she transitioned to JPMorgan’s Global Product Management Team, where she continues to drive innovation and standardization. Megan’s career trajectory is defined by resilience and leadership. In 2012, she stepped away from the workforce for four years to serve as a full-time caregiver for her husband, a catastrophically wounded Army veteran. During that time, she remained engaged in the payments industry, staying informed on advancements and maintaining professional relationships. Upon reentering the workforce, she returned to Nuvei and quickly advanced into leadership, driving major industry innovations. Where do you see the nominee succeeding in the future?

However, with the advancement of Pay by Bank (PBB), ACH now has the potential to become the shining star of payments: an efficient, secure, and preferred method across all industries. As an Executive Director on JPMorgan’s Global Product Management Team, Megan is driving the evolution of standardized, scalable account-to-account payments both in the U.S. and internationally.
